BUCKLE PARTS
The Buckle Coupe fibreglass body and chassis were built by Buckle Motors
at the 137 Bonds Road Punchbowl factory.
They mainly used Zephyr parts.
The electric door locks were 12 volt Lucas solenoids.
Tail lights are Lucas, same as used on the Lotus Elite, MG Magnette.
Park/blinker lights were Lucas as used on the Mini series.
Boot hinges from the Mk1 Zephyr convertible.
Door hinges are from FX Holden with a small modification.
All dash instruments are Jaeger.
Front windscreen & seal were Mk1 Zephyr.
Rear screen, door glass, rear 1/4 windows and radiator were specially made.
All steering gear is Mk 1 Zephyr.

BUCKLE BODY MOULDS
Christmas 1965 six Buckle owners bought from Buckle Motors the moulds which were used to build the Buckle Coupe.
The six owners were: Brian Lawler, Bob Williamson, Danny Lloyd, Bob Boston, Merv Billington & Norm McDonald.
Moulds Ownership: your share is not transferrable or not to be sold.
The aim was to be used them to repair our Buckles. The moulds can be used by any Buckle owner with our permission.
To borrow or hire them you will need the permission of three of the mould owners.
You can only have one peice of the moulds at any time. When returned you will be allowed to borrow or hire another peice.
Over the past 45+ years some have been borrowed and not returned. If you have any please return them.
The moulds a currently in the possession of
Danny Lloyd has the dash, LH outer door skin & inner L/R door frame, new bumperette moulds, turret,
floor & 2 side body panels inner & outer.
Bob Boston has the rear half body 1/4 panels, Bonnet and RH door skin and some small interior moulds.
2014 Bill Buckle donated the new moulds for the bumperettes
The original receipt and the carbon copies of the owners of the Buckle moulds from 1965.
The 6th owners is Brian Lawler who organised the purchase.
