William (Bill) Buckle passed away.
Will never be forgotten.
Rest in Peace Bill.

2025  SWAP MEETINGS / CAR SHOW / HISTORIC RACE MEETINGS.

History of the genuine 20 Buckle Coupes built by Buckle Motors. 1957-1961.

How they are now as at Dec 2023.

9 Buckles are now road registered in NSW 93-899, 93-894, 93-893, 93-891, 93-888, 93-887, 93-886, 93-883, 93-882.

2 Buckles are on their way to be finished soon. 93-900, 93-885

5 Buckles have been off the road for 25 years or longer. Hoping we will see them one day. 93-901, 93-897, 93-895, 93-892, 93-890,

1 Buckle was stolen in 1966/67 and never been recovered. 93-896

1 Buckle cut up in a dozen+ pieces to make a convertible but failed, Chassis left out in the weather for 30+ years until it was rusted away. 93-899. Never to be rebuilt.

1 damaged Buckle was sold or given away by a person who did now own it. Never been seen since. 93-884

1 Buckle written off,  parts were used to repair others, and the rest went to the tip. 93- 898. Never to be repaired

BUC001 is a 1955 model convertible, Bill built only one which looks nothing like the coupe body. Now fully restored and lives in Germany.

There are 2 Buckles around, one registered and other one, just a body. Both not Buckle Motors built, never to be classed as a Buckle.

NEED HELP TO I.D THIS BUCKLE AND YOUNG LADY.

The lady (model) would now be in her early 70s.

Note the non standard Buckle LIGHTS on top of the guards

Also the 2 guys sitting in the Buckle. Could be salesmen ? from Findlay Bros car dealership Victoria.
