1955 BUCKLE CONVERTIBLE

Original paint colour: Light blue with a white roof
Bill Buckle built in 1955, a Buckle convertible with a detachable roof.
All hand built from the ground up with Mk1 Ford Zephyr running gear.
Fibreglass body with suicide opening doors. One-off unique prototype sports car.
During 1956 the car was dismantled and sat in a corner at the factory.
All of its mechanical were used in the first Buckle Coupe.
Until Ray Leckie in 1958 bought it for 300 quid and took it to Canberra.
Today it lives in Germany and is fully restored

Noel Hill of Sydney Australia 1975-2006

Now restored and painted red
Noel took it to New Zealand then off to the UK

Sold to Gudrun & Hubert Kranz of Germany. 2006 to now
Rego Germany KLE GK 69H
Hubert restored it back to its original colour blue with a white top.
